Get in touch
Irwin Health & Life Insurance
The fastest way to a real answer is a phone call. If typing is easier, use the form and I will call you back.
Good for sending a prescription list or a plan letter you would like me to read.
Where I work
Garrettsville, Ohio 44231
I travel to clients across twelve Northeast Ohio counties — Portage, Trumbull, Geauga, Summit, Cuyahoga, Mahoning, Ashtabula, Lake, Stark, Medina, Columbiana and Wayne. Home visits are normal, not a special request.
Generally available: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and evenings or weekends by appointment. During Annual Enrollment (October 15 – December 7) I am out on the road a great deal — leave a message and I will return it.
Send me your question
Fill in what you know. Nothing here is a commitment, and I do not sell or share your information with anyone.
Service area
Based in Garrettsville, out across Northeast Ohio
From the Cleveland and Akron suburbs east to Ashtabula and south into the Mahoning Valley.
Before we talk
What helps me help you faster
None of this is required — call with whatever you have. But if these are on the table when we speak, one conversation usually does the job.
Always useful
- Your Medicare card
- Your date of birth
- Your county
- Your current plan card, if any
For plan comparisons
- Every prescription, with dose and frequency
- Your preferred pharmacy
- All your doctors and specialists
- Your preferred hospital system
If still working
- How many employees your employer has
- Whether your coverage is creditable
- When you plan to retire
- Whether you contribute to an HSA
For life or dental
- Your age and tobacco use
- General health history
- Amount of coverage you have in mind
- Your dentist, if you have one
Already have a plan?
Send me your Annual Notice of Change letter — the one your carrier mails each autumn describing what is changing for the coming year. Those letters are genuinely difficult to read and they frequently contain something that matters.
You are under no obligation to change anything. A good number of these reviews end with me saying your current plan is still the right one, and that is a useful thing to know for certain.
Timing tip: get in touch in early October, before Annual Enrollment opens on the 15th. The last two weeks of the period are always the busiest.
